Satya Brata Das
Global board leader, strategic adviser, author and barrier-breaking journalist, working at the intersection of governance, public policy, sustainability and human dignity.
His work is devoted to better human and planetary outcomes, inclusive prosperity, climate resilience, and a future in which people everywhere can live meaningful lives with dignity.
Satya Brata Das has spent a career helping institutions think clearly about the long term.
He is a Board Director, Chair, Vice-Chair and strategic adviser whose experience spans governance, sustainability, technology, public policy and international affairs. He has also advised the Premier’s Council on Alberta’s Economic Future on green technology adoption and sustainable economic modelling.
He holds Nuffield Fellowship studies in international trade and economic aid policies at the University of Cambridge, and studied political science, economics, French and English at the University of Alberta.
